The Little White Abode is a two storey home with plunge pool and rooftop terrace in the beachside suburb of Scarborough in Perth, Western Australia.
Designed by celebrated Australian designer Mon Palmer, the white walls and concrete finishes provide a unique canvas for photo shoots, and an inviting space for small group workshops.
Carefully crafted timber fins in Vulcan Screening finished with Sioo:x are used to create a natural feature to the higher elevations of the home.
The Sioo:x finish will slowly silver to a grey/white – blending in with the neutral tones and minimising maintenance for Mon and her family.
As a quality thermally modified timber, Vulcan was a perfect solution to ensure there was no leaching on the white walls.
The house is used for location hire and past shoots include Country Road, Aimee Cherie Intimates, BAE The Label, Bowerhouse, Onyx & Smoke, Bauwerk Colour, Picnic Clothing, Hobbs Shoes, Bare Babe and ELEVEN Australia.
Timber supply for this project was made by Abodo’s WA distributor Austim, with installation by Jacaranda Carpentry.
